TCXdiff requires System 7.x. TCXdiff is based on NCSA's Xdiff program for the Mac, written in August 1989. TCXdiff adds the ability to specify default folders and filenames (useful for batch processing), as well as drag-and-drop capabilities. It takes two files (source and control) and generates a diff file for use by xfix (part of the NCSA Xdiff package, available by anon. ftp from ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu). TCXdiff DOES NOT perform the updating per se, you'll need to use xfix for that.
